Mr. Chan is a Partner of SEAVI Advent. Prior to this, he specialized in telecom and Internet investment banking in Asia. He recently served as an Associate Director of HSBC, where he co-founded its telecom/Internet practice, and earlier worked at Goldman Sachs. Before business school, he spent four years as a network engineer at NYNEX in New York and two years as a network operations manager at a European start-up funded by Millicom International Cellular. Mr. Chan received a MA in Engineering from Cambridge University, a MS in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
